
Gene Wright oversees operational management of Brim's community hospitals in the Midwestern and southeastern United States. He brings more than 30 years experience in hospital management to the company. Gene has served in leadership roles at a variety of hospitals and healthcare institutions including Columbia/HCA and Humana. Recently, he served as CEO at Brim-managed Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, Georgia. Prior to joining Brim, Gene was a coach with The Studer Group, LLC and provided executive training to client hospitals across the United States.
Gene is a graduate of Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky and the Executives Fellow Program. He serves on the Georgia Hospital Association Board of Trustees and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
