Vice President, Business Development
Brim Healthcare seeks a highly qualified healthcare business development professional to join its management team as Vice President of Business Development. We are looking for an energetic individual with demonstrated success in selling management or consulting services to community hospitals. Working with and reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations for Brim Healthcare, the VP of Business Development will be directly responsible for adding new hospital clients to the company’s existing management and consulting business. This position will also be responsible for overseeing Brim’s corporate marketing and communications efforts. This position is based in our corporate office in Brentwood, TN and may require overnight travel of 50% or more.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of five years of experience selling significant contracts to hospital trustees and/or C-suite executives. A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent training and education, is required. Skills and experience in hospital management, sales, marketing, communications and media relations are a plus. Superior selling, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in this position.

Hospital Chief Financial Officer
Brim is seeking an experienced, innovative and energetic healthcare professional to bring leadership, vision and expertise to the position of Chief Financial Officer at Cobre Valley Community Hospital (CVCH) in Globe, Arizona. CVCH is a Critical Access hospital located 80 miles east of the Phoenix Metro area. Cobre Valley Community Hospital is a not-for-profit, community hospital, and governed by a volunteer community member board. This position is a key member of the executive team, will be responsible for the finances of the hospital, information technologies, health information services, materials management, laboratory services, radiological services and pharmacy services. This highly visible position will require a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision making skills that will be evaluated by the medical staff and board of directors. Also required are strong leadership skills in creating a hospital atmosphere that encourages motivation, innovation, and high performance from the entire hospital team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to function in a CEO-type role in their interactions with facility boards and employees.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates for this leadership position will have 5+years recent, related experience in an acute care or critical access hospital setting either as a Chief Financial Officer or Controller; will communicate openly with all hospital departments; maintain operational control through systematic records and reports and ensure provision of quality services in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Exemplary presentation, interpersonal and problem solving skills are essential. A financially related bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree in finance or business and/or CPA active certification is preferred. Candidates with experience in areas including new facility planning and construction, primary care practice management, managed care contracts, cost report analysis, reimbursement and revenue cycle management will be preferred. Previous leadership experience directing non nursing operational departments is considered a plus.
