Hospital Chief Financial Officer

Information Technology Manager/Director/CIO

Brim Healthcare is seeking an experienced healthcare Information Technology Manager, Director, CIO to work permanent or interim assignments on-site at Brim-affiliated hospitals across the U.S. This position provides strategic management and leadership in the effective use of information systems and technology in support of enterprise-wide strategic planning. Provides vision for planning, execution and integration of information systems and technology throughout the organization. Facilitates and coordinates information system and technology change in support of organizational direction.

Interim Business Office Director(s)

Brim Healthcare is seeking experienced Business Office Directors to work interim assignments on-site with Brim-affiliated hospitals, helping them meet their A/R goals. The Interim Director is a "hands-on" position, involving review of hospital revenue cycle to ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place to capture charges, bill timely and maximize collections in a manner that encourages compliance with industry standards. This position may be based out of Brim's Brentwood, TN or Plano, TX offices.

Successful candidates will hold a bachelor's of science or equivalent degree in a related field; or at least five years hospital business office management experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. The position requires professional communication and interactive skills, as well as the ability to read, analyze and interpret common and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions is also required. Because Brim hospitals vary in size, experience in hospitals of various sizes and complexities (including CAH) will be considered. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and considerable proficiency with computer software, hospital billing systems and other business systems and equipment. The Medicare/Medicaid Biller will report to the Director, Central Business Office of the Brim Solutions Group. The Medicare/Medicaid Biller ensures accurate, legal and prompt billing for services at contracted facilities. The Medicare/Medicaid biller will monitor bills for proper billing codes and amounts. The Medicare/Medicaid Biller follows established Central Business Office policies and procedures in the performance of the duties of this position. This position is based in Brim’s Plano, TX office.

Qualified candidates must be a High school graduate or equivalent required. One(1) to three (3) years of medical collections, knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing. Three (3) to five (5) years experience in hospital collections, knowledge of TX Medicaid processes preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients, guarantors and other internal and external parties. Must demonstrate an ability to 1) analyze and interpret data, 2) maintain a high degree of concentration, and 3) operate a calculator by touch. The Collection Representative will report to the Director, Central Business Office of the Brim Solutions Group. The Collections Representative supports the reduction of receivables by reviewing open accounts, by calling insurance companies and/or patients and guarantors in order to resolve problems that are preventing payment for hospital services. The Collections Representative follows established Central Business Office policies and procedures in the performance of the duties of this position. This position is based in Brim’s Plano, TX office.

Qualified candidates must be a High school graduate or equivalent required. One(1) to three (3) years of medical collections, knowledge of third party billing, insurance reimbursement and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act required. Three (3) to five (5) years experience in hospital collections, knowledge of CMS and Document Imaging preferred.Must have excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients, guarantors and other internal and external parties.
